To go to Puerto Galera

  1. Go to Batangas City by Land Transportation (approx. 2 hours)
  2. From the Pier, board the Public Ferry or Water Taxi bound for Puerto Galera

Things you need before traveling

  1. Secure a booking from any accredited or licensed resort accommodation in Puerto Galera.
  2. Download the Puerto Galera Tourist Registration App from googleplay or playstore, register, and generate the one-time Tourist QR Code. Click HERE to download now.
  3. Download the StaySafePh App (via googleplay or playstore) and register – this is the tracing app of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA). Click HERE to download now.
  4. Wait for confirmation from the Tourism Office before traveling.

AT BATANGAS PORT, VIA PUBLIC FERRY

  • Show your generated QR code via StaySafePh at the entry gate then proceed to the ticket booth.
  • Show your one-time Tourist Registration QR Code to buy the ferry ticket.
  • Proceed to board the water taxi which will go to Balatero Port, Puerto Galera

AT BALATERO PORT, PUERTO GALERA

  • Upon arrival at Balatero Port, proceed to the Health Assessment Booth.
  • Once cleared, proceed to the EUF Booth to pay the Environmental Users Fee (PhP 120.00)
  • Proceed to your chosen accommodation.

AT BERBERABE PORT, VIA WATER TAXI

  • Show your one-time Tourist Registration QR Code to the Boat Captain
  • Available trip to Puerto Galera via Water Taxi is open time
  • Proceed to board the water taxi which will go to Muelle Port, Puerto Galera

AT MUELLE PORT, PUERTO GALERA

  • Upon arrival at Muelle Port, proceed to the Health Assessment Booth
  • Once cleared, proceed to the EUF Booth to pay the Environmental Users Fee (PhP 120.00)
  • Proceed to your chosen accommodation.

FOR SYMPTOMATIC TRAVELERS

  • If found symptomatic of COVID-19, the tourist shall not be accepted and will be directed back via the earliest trip to Batangas. Should there no more trips, the tourist shall be brought to the Municipal Isolation Center in Sabang.
